Installing an artificial lawn is not inexpensive by an means. Choosing the correct product and supplier in the first instance can save you money and time just by checking your artificial grass samples.
If you have little to no synthetic grass knowledge, we would recommend you to request from at least three different suppliers:

- artificial grass samples and a
- site appraisal for your project
Simple ways to ensure that your investment in artificial lawn is secure:
- Request samples. Touch and feel the density
- Measure the pile height of your artificial turf samples. Does it match the specification label?
- Keep the sample you have chosen. Compare it with the product delivered to you or being installed at your site.
- Read about artificial grass specifications and what they mean here.
- Discuss the installation process with your site appraiser. Are they offering you a 2-year workmanship warranty?
- Request a few referrals for the same product
- Has maintenance schedules, warranty certificates for products and installation been discussed with you.
What sizes are artificial grass samples?
Sample sizes vary according to different suppliers. Our sample sizes are typically 20cm x 30cm. Larger sized samples will be cut upon clients request and size specifications.
How much does synthetic grass samples cost?

How do I measure the pile height of synthetic lawn?
- Pile Height typically refers to the length of the yarn strands
- Brush the yarns of your sample or synthetic lawn upright using your hands and fingers.
- Take a ruler and measure the yarn from the top of the backing to the top of the pile.
How do I compare different samples from different suppliers?
- place the samples next to one another
- touch and feel the different densities
- compare the specification labels (pile height, density, stitch rate, and warranty)
- measure the pile heights
- compare the backing, does it look or feel similar?
